Torrance House Golf Club is located on the Southern edge of East Kilbride, close to the (A726) (East Kilbride to Strathaven Road) with good access and vehicle parking.
The clubhouse is a private club run adjacent to Torrance House Golf Course. The course is a 6415 yard Par 72, 18 Hole facility set amongst mature woodlands and parklands adjoining the Calderglen Country Park.
The Country Park, Golf Course and Clubhouse share the same access and parking facilities which feature high quality landscaping and gardens.
The Clubhouse is located next to the attractive buildings of Torrance House itself, a 15th Century Tower House which forms the focal point of the park and golf course.

The Golf Club was established in 1969 and is actively involved with SGU official competition. Each year a Pro/Am competition is held attracting many of Scotland top professionals. Indeed, Craig Ronald a well known figure in East Kilbride with his own golf column in the local newspaper started his career at Torrance House. He is now the Club Professional at Carluke Golf Club.
Torrance House Golf Course has recently underwent some major changes. The greenstaff have replaced 3 greens during the winter of 2010 - 2011 with USGA greens. Due to weather conditions during the winter it has taken a while for the greens to develop, however they are now in use and the grass is growing well. These new greens should ensure better play particularly during the coming winter months. Be sure to try out the new greens during our open competitions.
